EV charger installation cost in Las Vegas, 2026
Las Vegas-area installers who publish prices start around $575 for a hardwired charger right beside the panel; a Valley installer puts most standard installs at $750–$2,500 before the charger. NV Energy has no straight install rebate, but its managed-charging program pays $100 ($500 income-qualified) to enroll plus up to $150 a year.

Permits
Which office permits your charger depends on your address. Inside City of Las Vegas limits, the City’s Table 3-D prices a new circuit as Minor Electrical and a panel upsizing as a Service Change (City fee tables). Unincorporated areas go through Clark County Building & Fire Prevention, which prices by job valuation. Parts of Summerlin sit in each, so check your address. Henderson and North Las Vegas run their own permit offices with their own fees.
- Installer response testing (who replies to quote requests) has not been done yet.
- The City of Las Vegas fee tables we used are marked effective July 1, 2021; we could not find a newer published schedule. The City has not confirmed in writing that EV charger circuits are billed as Minor Electrical.
- Clark County electrical permit specifics (Table 3-B unit fees, plan review share) and its final fee for a charger circuit were not confirmed; the County says its calculator is an estimate only.
- Henderson and North Las Vegas permit fees were not checked.
- Which Summerlin neighborhoods fall inside City limits versus unincorporated Clark County should be confirmed by address.
- Nevada state-level home charger incentives: none found on official sources, but not confirmed with the Nevada Governor’s Office of Energy.
